From Native Village To Telangana: Vijay’s Big Promise For Students

Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika visited Thummanpet village in Telangana today and took part in a special educational initiative. The couple launched a scholarship program to encourage talented students studying in government schools.

A total of 180 students from Classes 9 and 10, who achieved excellent academic results were selected for financial assistance. Vijay and Rashmika personally presented the scholarships to the students making the event memorable for them and their families.

During his speech Vijay announced that he plans to expand this program across Telangana soon for sure so that more deserving students can benefit.

Earlier he had shared the list of selected students on social media. Large crowds gathered in the village to catch a glimpse of the star couple.

The event was organized successfully in Thummanpet, Vijay’s ancestral village. Meanwhile, Vijay and Rashmika are busy shooting for Ranabaali, which is set to release on September 11.
